Citywide Internship Fair

Event Description

Thank you for your interest in attending Austin's citywide internship fair on May 15th at the AT&T Conference Center. The "Connect" event will be from 2:00-4:00 PM in the ballroom, beginning with a brief training by Constant Contact on the Benefits of an Intern for your Social Media.  The purpose of the fair is to connect students and start-ups, small businesses, and nonprofits in Austin still looking for an internship/intern this summer. The internship fair will be organized by industry, offer networking and food and is estimated to include up to 200 companies and 600 students/candidates. A few days before the event you will receive a packet of information via email with additional details and advice on how to make the most of the fair. 

There are two types of tickets you may register for:

1. Student Attendee - you must be a student currently enrolled with a local University/College and looking for an internship this summer. With this ticket you can atend the main event and the information sessions in the break-out rooms beforehand

2. Company Ticket - you must have a legitimate/legal intership opportunity this summer (see www.InternInAustin.org Education page for an explanation)
